PROSPER is a Design Initiative project, providing a seminar programme and support for designer-makers across North West England.

PROSPER is about helping designer-makers to reach new markets, sell more work, market themselves effectively and look at cost-effective means of producing high quality craft and design products.

Designer-makers are designers and crafts people who design and make their own work or get it produced elsewhere. Designer-makers tend to work in materials such as ceramics, textiles, wood, metal, stone, glass and plastics.  And producing products such as furniture, lighting, tableware, fashion accessories, jewellery and both functional and art objects.

Design Initiative has developed PROSPER with the support of Arts Council England, North West and a wide range of partners throughout the region.
